When the time comes to go out in public, it’s a no-brainer to wear your shorts.
When I first went out in the street in Delhi, I wore them outside because I was afraid of walking on the street.
But once I decided to put them inside, I was horrified.
I couldn’t see the people walking past, I couldn’t even hear them.
I could barely see the sun.
And that’s how I became a full-fledged, self-conscious, hairy-chested man.
“People would look at me like I was crazy, or a woman would be like, ‘How do you get your shorts so big?'” said Pradeep.
Pradeep, who works as a software engineer, has been wearing his shorts inside for about a year now.
He says he has no regrets.
“I’ve made some friends in the industry who were in the same situation, so I guess it’s better than wearing my shorts outside,” he said.
And Pradeeps own friends agree.
“When I came to India, I started wearing shorts, I liked it, and I still do,” said one.
For me, shorts are an easy and comfortable option for the average person.
And when you don’t want to wear anything but your shorts, they make it even easier.
